When people say, "I love Japanese food," what they often really mean is, "I love fresh, top-quality cuisine." The food served promptly and artistically presented, you're not going to enjoy your meal unless the it is made from quality ingredients. We, Hokkaido, dedicate ourself to be your choice in Sydney.

The Restaurant concentrates on an authentic, restrained style as practised in Japan and does not indulge in throwing eggs, prawns, rice bowls - or anything else - at the customers! Rather, the aim is to cook the best possible ingredients in a skilled and respectful manner.

In addition to savory dish and friendly staffs there is a comfortable atmosphere for drinks before and after the meal. The Hokkaido Restaurant (or simply Hokkaido) was known as a nickname "Lobster Cave" in Loftus Street in Circular Quay area of Sydney CBD in Australia. It continues today under the same ownership and attracts many regular customers from both Australia and overseas.
